Based in Argyll but also operating from the Trossachs and across Scotland. I'm a traditional wooden boatbuilder by trade, currently restoring a 1930s 14 ft larch on oak clinker dinghy. I also work in the oak frame building sector and make produce from coppiced material.

I'm a sole trader, a student of IBTC Lowestoft and self-taught wood worker with a passion for the natural environment (especially woodlands and the sea). This is reflected in my work with an eye for details and creative solutions. My main long term aspiration is to create a working business that uses local natural materials and creates more broad leaf species timber than it uses.
